Adnams 7yo TBWC

That Boutique-y Whisky Company has gone and bottled up its very first batch of single malt from Southwold - yes, this expression comes from the amazing Adnams Distillery! You might be more familiar with its beer, but we highly recommend you get familiar with its spirits too, and they are superb indeed. What's going on with the label, you ask? Well, I hope you like ghost stories, because you're in one!!! Ahem... Anyway, there are a lot of ghost stories surrounding the brewery, and this is a bit of a modern twist on that. Mobile phones and emojis and all that.

Batch 1 is a release of 406 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Cooked apple and overripe pear, drizzled with runny caramel. A hint of old oak furniture sits in the background.

Palate Enjoyably chocolatey, with a smidge of bittersweet coffee in there too. Rounded malt, more orchard fruit, and a kick of cinnamon.

Finish Lasting molasses and honey richness.

Reviews for Adnams 7 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
Really good
Fantastic deep bronze colour, nice aroma.
Very nice flavour, towards the sweet end of the scale.
Pleasantly surprised for a five year old whisky, Adnams is a brewery I like, turns out they make good whisky too. Would happily buy again.
