A fruity Ardmore single malt, distilled in 2002. It then spent 17 years maturing in a single cask, number 317. In 2019 Adelphi bottled the Highlander at 58.2% ABV, with an outturn of 275 bottles.
Fudge, good coffee and toasted staves. A hint of cherry, too.
Apricot, honeydew melon and dates, mixed with roasted nuts and popcorn. Cardamom spiciness develops.
Earthy on the finish, though retains a fruity sweetness.
