A 20 year old blended malt from indie bottler Adelphi, named Dufftown - likely a hint to its origins. After two decades in a single cask (#2140 to be specific), the Scottish bottler freed the whisky and bottled it up at 58% ABV with an outturn of 238 bottles.
Nose: Stewed apple and rhubarb, heavy caramel and festive spice.
Palate: Chocolate cake with double cream, sugared almond, clove, apricot.
Finish: Chewy dates and greengages, very slightly floral.
