A 20 year old blended malt from indie bottler Adelphi, named Dufftown - likely a hint to its origins. After two decades in a single cask (#2140 to be specific), the Scottish bottler freed the whisky and bottled it up at 58% ABV with an outturn of 238 bottles.

Nose

Stewed apple and rhubarb, heavy caramel and festive spice.

Palate

Chocolate cake with double cream, sugared almond, clove, apricot.

Finish

Chewy dates and greengages, very slightly floral.
