Highlands 8yo Adelphi Bottling Note

A marvellously mysterious single malt, independently bottled by Adelphi for its Breath of the Highlands series! Hailing from an undisclosed Highland distillery, this peated expression spent eight years maturing in a single Oloroso hogshead between 2012 and 2021, until the cask was cracked open to release a total outturn of 334 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dried fruit, candied orange, and nutty malt, with rich spice and smoky coffee.

Palate: Dark caramel, plums, and dates, rich wafts of raisins and tobacco with bold, earthen peat.

Finish: Smoke lingers alongside dense dried fruits, rich oak, and bold barley with plenty of clovey fruit cake spice.
