Adelphi's Glenborrodale 8 Year Old (Batch 6)
Here we have the sixth batch of Adelphi's Glenborrodale blended malt. This eight year old marries malts from Highland Park, Bunnahabhain, Tamdhu and Glenrothes, along with some special Glenrothes that spent its days in a sherry cask. Tasty stuff, with an outturn of 1,496 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, a dash of citrus and some sherried fruit.
Palate
Buttered toast and heather honey, jammy berry compote and dark chocolate praline, with a good hit of sherry.
Finish
Sweet malt alongside some rich dark fruit, namely cherry.
