It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

If you like Balvenie doublewood, this is the next step. It’s incredible - much more body and finish. Agree with the tasting notes above: honey, orange, butter, raisins, and the deftest touch of smoke.
Personally, it is my favorite batch so far.
very recognisable cherry, gingerbread, orange & cinnamon, quite a sweet finish - very drinkable
Good whisky, but price has trebled since my first batch 6. Glenfarclas, Arran, Glengoyne are all far less expensive and all Scottish owned. Profits not going into Pernod Ricard coffers.
I love A'Bunadh. Admittedly, I paid less a few years back with the 30 or 50 batch, but it's a great whisky. Pay what you want for art.
