Aberlour have reached their 68th batch of their ever popular A'Bunadh! As always, this has been matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, creating an intensely sherried expression which we think is utterly captivating. Bottled at cask strength, this batch notches up a hefty 61.5% ABV, for anyone looking to explore cask strength whiskies, look no further for a perfect introduction!
Nose: Brioche and golden syrup, chocolate raisins and fruit cake.
Palate: Sweet Oloroso and Christmas pudding, pepper prickles in the background, with wafts of oak and malt loaf.
Finish: Glorious mouthfeel, long lasting, more peppery oak, chocolate raisins and malted milk biscuits.

For those like the reviewer below... This is a cask strength... You're supposed to add water to proof down the alcohol and open up the flavours. Therefore, you're getting a lot more for your money because it's not been drastically watered down before bottling.

For something cask strength, the price is a no brainer. Deliciously smooth and no proof burn.P.S. if you’re gonna give a bad review just because of the price, every Macallen should be 1 star 🤷🏻♂️
Good malt, but terrible when priced at £80 a bottle. Young and spirit driven
