Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 74

Aberlour A'Bunadh #74 Bottling Note

It's time again for Aberlour's latest batch of A'Bunadh. Joining the rest of the batches, number 74 has been treated to the same maturation process, entirely in ex-oloroso sherry butts, so you can expect plenty of dark, sticky spice. Bottled up at cask strength, and non-chill filtered, this is a flavourful Speysider indeed, that does well with a few drops of water to open things up.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 74 Reviews

Delicious

Absolutely right up there after Aultmore. I don’t want to finish my bottle !

Not as good as the batches of old

A fine dram, for sure. It is about a decade since I last bought this offering, and this seems somewhat lighter than previous. Some dried fruit, but not the concentrated Christmas pudding in a bottle that I am familiar with. Very good, just not outstanding.
