An independently bottled 23 year old Aberlour single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2013 by the folks at WM Cadenhead. 522 bottles were produced for this Small Batch release, presented at a generous 54.9% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pecans, Custard Creams, butterscotch and freshly picked peaches.
Palate
Hugely malty, with generous helpings of extra thick double cream and apple.
Finish
Subtly sugary, but balanced by old oak.
