This single malt Aberlour Speyside whisky was distilled on 10 October 2011 and then matured in a single refill bourbon barrel (#700323) for 12 years. It was filled into 219 bottles on 8 July 2024 at 55.3% ABV, natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
Sweet aromas of toffee apples, vanilla custard, nutmeg and white chocolate.
Fairly creamy with notes of citrus zest, green apple, honey, all-butter shortbread and cinnamon.
Moderately spiced with white pepper and star anise, and underlying tones of caramelised pear, hazelnuts and continuing vanilla.
