Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.

Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.

I just like it. Tastes like a nice scotch. Great value, great taste. Not harsh, good body, nice finish. "Like"!
Great, reminds me of Christmas, warming, rich, fruity fantastic single malt enjoying every drop. Will defiantly have a bottle in for the festive season
Surprised at the quality of this for the money. Lovely stuff.
Lovely whisky, really great for the price with a full rich flavour. Usually go for Glenlivit 15 yr but this is just as good.
Very nice indeed. One of the best bourbon-sherried malts in this price range. Just wonder what this one could be in 46 %, un-chillfiltered and natural color?
