This 2012 vintage single malt from Aberlour distillery matured for a decade in a single cask, with a good amount of time spent in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead. The Speyside Scotch whisky was independently bottled at cask strength by James Eadie in 2023, with an outturn of 309 bottles.
Nose: Rich dried fruit, with some sticky balsamic glaze, and Christmas cake.
Palate: Raisins, baked plums, leathery spices, and a touch of candied orange.
Finish: Hazelnut praline, and sweet spices.
