Aberfeldy 9 Year Old (cask 247) - Dràm Mòr
Distilled at Aberfeldy in 2015, this single malt matured for nine years, including a finish in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel. A total of 240 cask strength bottles were independently released by Dràm Mòr in 2024, without added colour or chill filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oaken vanilla and chewy caramel are joined by juicy notes of peach and apricot, and a touch of woody anise.
Palate
Slick layers of butterscotch, sticky toffee pudding, and vanilla cream, with buttery shortbread and toasted oak in tow.
Finish
Delicate oak and vanilla fudge, with a touch of pepper nestling comfortably beneath.
