Distilled at Aberfeldy in 2015, this single malt spent the next nine years maturing, finishing up in sweet Moscatel wine casks. The whisky was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., selecting it for The Golden Cut Collection of its Cooper's Choice series, and bottling it at a satisfying 50% ABV. A release of 282 bottles.
Sweet layers of floral honey, stewed fruits, and juicy barley.
Baked fruit, biscuity malt, cinder toffee, candied orange, and a touch of baking spice.
Warming notes of clove and nutmeg linger alongside sweet fruit for the finish.
