Description
Nestled in the foothills of Scotland's Central Highlands, the Aberfeldy distillery uses Scottish malted barley and long fermentation to produce its gloriously golden, honey-rich single malts. Distilled in 1991, this one was drawn from a single hogshead by us, right here at Master of Malt, after spending a generous 27 years maturing. A total of 236 bottles join our exclusive collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dense notes of engine oil, polished oak, and fresh paint are supported by banana bread, pear drops, and vegetal malt.
Palate
Sweetly poached orchard fruits arrive, with suggestions of apple crumble joined by floral roasted barley, zesty dried orange peels, and earthy oak.
Finish
A whisper of lychee and vanilla wrap things up, with zesty citrus peels lingering.
