Description

An Aberfeldy with nearly a quarter of a century under its belt, bottled for Murray McDavid’s Mission Gold collection. Distilled in 2002, this Highland single malt spent its full 24 years in oloroso sherry butt number 43 before bottling in 2026. That single cask yielded 636 bottles at 54.1% ABV.

Nose

Pear crumble and fragrant quince, joined by orange with a waxy edge.

Palate

Fresh orchard fruit fills out an oily palate, with oak spice building around it.

Orange peel and warming cinnamon linger, with a little clove rounding things off.
