This single malt from Aberfeldy joins the Midnight Series from Douglas Laing. Distilled in October 2010, the whisky matured in a single refill butt until it was opened in 2023, yielding a total of 309 bottles.
Vanilla sponge and toasted oak lead the way, with delicate notes of sweet spice in tow.
Summer fruits and dark chocolate are joined by fruit loaf and candied oranges, with a touch of polished oak nestling in the depths.
Dark, sweet noted of fruit cake and baking spice, cherry chocolate, coffee, and marmalade.
