Indie Aberfeldy here from the Hidden Spirits range! This expression was allowed to age for 11 years after being distilled in 2009, and was bottled up at cask strength. A fab whisky, with a rather charming painting of a countryside scene on the label, which is neat. Hills and all that. Trees. Clouds. The lot.
Apple turnover, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, a flash of spicy caraway.
Cookie dough, savoury hints of barley developing later on, with plenty of vanilla too.
Cinnamon gum, orange zest, and oatmeal.
