Aber Falls Orange Wine Cask - Distillers Cut
Fabulous Welsh single malt whisky from the Aber Falls Distillery, this is the 2021 instalment of its annual Distillers Cut series. Interestingly, this expression was drawn from casks that previously contained wine made of oranges, and as such, you'll be able to spot some rather tasty citrus notes from this one.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange peel and milk chocolate, plus layers of caramel and espresso.
Palate
Creamy vanilla, orange cream chocolates, malty spice slowly building.
Finish
A few hints of nutmeg and the final touches of citrus remain.
