Description

Distilled by Aymeric Roborel De Climens in France comes this glorious single malt, produced from 100% French barley. After initial maturation in French oak, the whisky was treated to a finishing period in ex-Sémillon barrels from sweet wine producer Château Doisy-Daëne imparting a complex array of candied fruit and rich malty oak.

Sweet and powerful French beauty.

Beautiful fruity nose, marmalade, pineapple , kiwi fruit and minty dark chocolate. Bright and effervescent. On the palate, sweet and powerful with the malt really coming through and the semillon very present. Reminiscent of a Highland, like Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. A step up from their blend, which was also excellent, but lighter reflecting the lower proof. A sweet and powerful find.
