Music producer TommyD and his team, along with help from Jonathan Driver, set out a create a whisky that could be enjoyed neat and as part of simple club serves and cocktails - the result is 8O8 Whisky, a grain whisky produced at the North British distillery. The name is inspired by the TR-808 drum machine. If you've ever listened to electronic music, you've almost certainly heard a TR-808 before.
Light honey, chocolate and vanilla notes - can be mixed with Red Bull, though the coconut water serve sounds more promising to us, however.

Really good liquid! I’ve seen some negative reviews on here those people need to get down from their soap box and understand what the market is for this. I’ve drank and enjoyed everything from a 50yo Balvenie to a 10yo Glenmo. I get this is light and smooth for a whisky. But that’s the whole point, bringing new drinkers into the category. They will then move onto the bolder whiskies.
Sorry, but it's a whisky you can only enjoy blended... propably good enough for all the wannabes out there
I totally understand where the more "educated" reviewers here are coming from, 808 drum machine, chill filtered means nothing etc etc, but in a weird way I quite like it, not everything *has* to be for connoisseurs, usually I hate grain whisky, possibly better than some other undrinkable varieties
seriously!! - MoM take a good hard look at yourself for even offering this as a "Whisky"
I smell a lot of fake reviews on here! This is clearly marketed at the ''dumb millennial'' market that will drink anything with a good Instagram tag association. This isn't a whisky for connoisseurs but just another ''ill drink anything going'' spirit. Also for those NOT in the no, there is nothing glamorous about chill filtering your whisky. ''Chill filtered for purity'' is exactly the same as saying ''Coloured using fake chemicals for a laugh''.
