An 'incompletely rectified' polish Vodka. Siwucha translates literally as 'Hooch' or 'Rot-gut' (enticed yet?). An alternate (althogh perhaps less accurate) translation is 'Old Grey Lady', referring to the slightly opaque Grey Colour of the Vodka. Developed to faithfully replicate the vodkas of old through the addition of a portion of unrectified barley spirit, this is perhaps as close as it's possible to (legally) get to real, genuine Vodka from the old country. A must for any true Vodka fan.

This is the mother of all Vodkas. It is SUPERB, I've yet to encounter another Vodka that so beguiles one! It wants to be served chilled [we stick it in the freezer!] and then very slowly sipped. Utterly magical, you know the colour of the sky above the Polish plains, you understand the depth of the brown soil that the rye grew in, you literally taste Poland. I highly recommend - with a caveat - you're stuffed if you ever drink this, no other Vodka is ever going to quite satisfy again.
The vodka prides itself in being the closest thing to old Polish gorzałka. Nose of berries/forest fruit. Palate of berries, maybe vanilla? Texture similar to methylated spirits/solvent, maybe odd of me to say. Finish is what makes the vodka stand out, short, essentially no burn. Outrageously smooth. Highly recommend overall, very easy drinker.
