A vodka from the Isle of Wight made with a small amount rock sea salt to evoke the fresh sea air and the saltiness on your lips after a day at the coast, or indeed sailing on the surrounding waters!
A-does-what-it-says-on-the-tin vodka with that slight sea salt salinity creating an enjoyable sea sipper. It's in cocktails that this particularly shines, though, where the salt can really bring flavours to life.
Some terrible reviews on here not sure why, just tried this for myself no complaints from me really smooth with no burn and no bitter after taste being a fan of black cow and belvedere vodkas I would say it compares well ignore the reviews and make your own mind up I did
I’m another one who can’t understand the negative reviews. For me, this is a really good vodka, with a deep, almost bitter taste, a great smell, and just the right amount of salt. A definite favourite of mine, but I appreciate other brands, too. I guess individual tastes differ - e.g. I can’t stand Absolut, for me it has an awful aftertaste, but many would disagree! I guess it’s all about personal taste, but many of the negative reviews appear a bit ‘trolly’ to me……….
Tried it with Fever Tree blood orange soda and found it quite pleasant. Took a bit of the sweetness of the mixer away, which wasn’t a bad thing at all.
As a man who owns a distillery and produces a vodka (not the same as this), I can say that I really enjoyed this product. It’s got a great thick mouthfeel which makes it perfect for shaking on ice and serving straight or adding to a cocktail, its very subtle saltiness offers enhanced flavour and its smooth with a pleasant grain finish.
Makes Smirnoff i drinkable and grey goose taste awful
