Absolut Blue Vodka

I’ve always had Smirnoff vodka until now. Absolut vodka is just on another level. I didn’t realise there could be such a taste comparison.

It is overpriced and slightly too medicinal for my liking, I tend to prefer Wyborowa or Smirnoff both of which are cheaper and more enjoyable, but I can see why people like this too. I have seen this described as too much money spent on advertising campaigns and too little on the product itself and I think it summarizes this product perfectly.

If like me, your preference leans to other spirits (Whisky for me) but you want to keep a bottle of voddy in the house and aren't looking to spend much, it does the job. It's good for shots, fine for mixing and cocktails, wouln't be my first choice for sipping neat.

Stoli is my preference these days for the above purposes, but Absolut is a perfectly viable option, and is certainly a better choice than some others in it's price range (looking at you Smirnoff). It does smell like pure acetone though.

Es bueno, es suave. Acá en Argentina esta muy de moda, definitivamente "garpa" el absolut, pero le resta mucho el sobreprecio. Teniendo en cuenta ese aspecto le resto media estrella 7.5/10

Es bueno, es suave y tiene calidad. En Argentina esta muy caro y esta de moda. Tiene bastante salida. Es un buen vodka, quedas bien y gusta definitivamente pero le resto media estrella por que esta demasiado caro y eso lo tira algo abajo y debo calificarlo también en relación al costo.

I really can't understand the fuss about Absolut. I find its taste very dry and unpleasant.

Very hyped were I live...very very hyped, but the vodka inside is not that good. It isn't bad either, but there are a lot of vodka brands way better then this one.
The spirit is weak, but it's clean and has some quality.
