Description

A red vermouth from Ferdinand's! The German vermouth is made from hand-picked Slate Riesling grapes and regional botanicals such as Stavnsbaer cherries, Schönberger plum and green walnut. Brilliant over ice or in a whole host of classic cocktails. Martinez, anyone?

Overall

Bitter, somewhat oily walnut, with red flowers, a sour cherry note and sweeter berries alongside, rounded up by savoury thyme and warming, aromatic spices.

Jammy delight

Wow a great rich jammy whack of cherries and plums, spiced up with strong peppery notes. Maybe not a typical vermouth and it lacks bitterness, but it's jolly lovely.
