Description

Aker English Rosé Aperitif combines liquid from two English powerhouse producers, using raspberry eau de vie from Capreolus Distillery in the Cotswolds, and pinot noir rosé wine from Chapel Down in Kent. These are blended with citrus and English botanicals to create a lively aperitif full of the flavours of the English countryside at the height of summer.

Overall

Balanced bitter wormwood, with ripe summer berries and a complex, herbaceous backbone, with twists of zesty orange.

Recently visited Chapel Down in Kent and had a great wine tasting, was excited to see their collaboration with Aker online - always keen to spot something different for at home. Good quality, garnished with orange and raspberry.

Would recommend - so light and flavourful

Very tasty and thirst quenching - nice bitter/sweet flavours of strawberries and rosé wine. I added soda and it was really refreshing. can imagine it's nice in a spritz with sparkling wine too like they suggest.
