Pasote Añejo
From the locally sourced, pure blue agave of Felipe J. Camarena's distillery, El Pandillo, the Pasote Añejo is the longest aged tequila from this range, spending one year in American ex-bourbon barrels. Mellowing the more prominent roasted agave of the Blanco or the Reposado, the añejo is still decidedly light in colour, and marks a sophisticated and mature alternative to the more overstated añejo examples that have flooded the industry.

Nose
Some smoke and white pepper tempers the sweet aroma of clean vanilla, light caramel and coconut.
Palate
Rich and smooth, subtle agave rumbles underneath marshmallow and chocolate orange, while spicy cinnamon and earthy herbs emerge.
Finish
A long, warm finish, with emerging spice and soft oak decorating a velvety mouth-feel.
