This 100% agave tequila was born out of a desire to revive the work of the great historian and poet of the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Grijalva de León and a character he created in 1947, Pancho Datos.
Pancho Datos Plata Tequila was crafted using Weber Tequilana Azul agave which was matured for eight years and then cooked in stone ovens for 48 hours. The agave syrup is then extracted with a train of roller mills and fermented. The spirit is then double distilled and bottled at 40% ABV.
Vegetable and herbal notes complement sweet vanilla and icing notes, as well as hints of toasted fruits.

I would say that the tasting notes from Master of Malt were spot on - this is such a delicious tequila and mixes well in so many cocktails. Definitely a re-purchase
Love this tequila! As well as it coming in this beautiful ‘decanter like’ bottle, it’s great tasting, lovely and smooth. I drink it straight over ice or love it in cocktails as well!

Perfectly balanced in flavour with the classic tequila taste, and seems to work in every cocktail I have attempted with it. An absolutely must have in my drinks cupboard, I never run out!
