This 100% agave tequila was born out of a desire to revive the work of the great historian and poet of the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Grijalva de León and a character he created in 1947, Pancho Datos.
Pancho Datos Plata Tequila was crafted using Weber Tequilana Azul agave which was matured for eight years and then cooked in stone ovens for 48 hours. The agave syrup is then extracted with a train of roller mills and fermented. The spirit is then double distilled and bottled at 40% ABV.
Vegetable and herbal notes complement sweet vanilla and icing notes, as well as hints of toasted fruits.

This Tequila is so good I just bought 2 bottles to replace my first one. Great agave flavour and very well balanced and smooth. It has lovely character without being aggressive in any way. Makes a mean margarita too!
Delicious with lime, tonic and a load of ice. Very refreshing, I loved it! I’m a tequila convert ❤️
Great tequila. Very smooth and makes great margaritas. I'm a tequila gal and this sits very well me.
I’ve sampled a lot of tequila in my experiences as a mixologist and previously as a bar tender. Pancho Datos plata is the only silver tequila i have drank that I could sip on without any mixer at all. If I could summarise the experience I would smooth, slightly sweet than the standard which takes some of the unpleasant burn away that you can experience with lesser silvers than this. There are late peppery and herbal notes that add to the complexity of this tequila. I’ve really enjoyed creating with this tequila. It’s very versatile from a mixology standpoint - yes all the tequila based classics come out fantastic but the cocktails you can create with this silver is where the fun lies.
The plata is by far the best tasting Tequila I’ve ever tried and I highly recommend to anyone! So many good memories drinking this with friends and family.
