This single estate blanco Tequila from Ocho uses agave that was harvested in 2023 at the San Jeronimo estate in Jalisco. These 100% agave Tequilas from Ocho never fail to impress, and make great choices for sipping and savouring the full agave flavour.
Looking to broaden my horizons I found Tequila Ocho highly regarded in reviews on YouTube, as it is 100% agave, & additive free, but inexpensive. I was a little taken aback on first taste - along with the expected agave flavour there was a slight metallic taste & more ‘burn’ than I’ve been used to, coming from Fortaleza and higher end tequilas. I tried chilling it in the freezer & found that improved it enormously. I used the rest of the bottle for margaritas & it worked brilliantly.
