Looking to broaden my horizons I found Tequila Ocho highly regarded in reviews on YouTube, as it is 100% agave, & additive free, but inexpensive. I was a little taken aback on first taste - along with the expected agave flavour there was a slight metallic taste & more ‘burn’ than I’ve been used to, coming from Fortaleza and higher end tequilas. I tried chilling it in the freezer & found that improved it enormously. I used the rest of the bottle for margaritas & it worked brilliantly.
