Made using 100% blue agave, aged in Hungarian White Oak barrels and filtered to remove the colour, the Maestro Dobel Tequila Reposado fools the eye into thinking it's a young and feisty blanco tequila, but the flavour tells no lies. Smooth and flavoursome like a well rested tequila should be, impressive.

The same filtering process that removes the color also removed a lot of flavor. If you appreciate the flavor of great tequila this will disappoint. There are no significant undertones of blue agave and any appreciable tasting differences that would differentiate a reposado from an anejo are lost with the filtering process. A *great* tequila for mixed drinks! My background: big tequila fan, enjoy it neat, top 4 for my flavor palate are clase azul reposado, rudo reposado, casa noble anejo and 1921 reposado. (unordered list, would be too difficult to order)
