A premium Extra Añejo Tequila from Lobos 1707, which was founded by Diego Osorio the great-great-grandson of a Spaniard, also called Diego Osorio, said to have imported agave spirit back to Spain, storing it in sherry barrels for the journey. Of course, the sherry casks worked their magic on the spirit within, and that tale is honoured with this 100% agave Tequila. Aged for three to four years in total, this expression is treated to a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks before bottling.
Waves of fragrant cooked agave and rich oak combine, with zesty citrus, buttery caramel, sherried fruits, and a touch of tobacco.
