Description

Tears of Llorona is an extra añejo Tequila made with 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the volcanic highlands of Jalisco. The Tequila is aged for five years in a combination of casks that previously held Scotch whisky, sherry, and brandy. The mature spirit from each cask type is then blended, producing a particularly deep and complex Tequila filled with dried fruit, caramel, chocolate, oak, and spice.

Nose

Cooked agave, dried fig, raisins, caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate, and polished oak.

Palate

Roasted agave, toffee, sherried fruit, cocoa, baking spice, and brandy richness.

Finish

Dark chocolate, dried fruit, sweet oak, and pepper.
