Tapatio Blanco Tequila - a back-bar stable, but not as you know it. This special edition of the classic tequila has been bottled at a higher strength of 110 proof (55% ABV), which has given it a punchier flavour profile, boosting the vibrant agave and peppery notes.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Savoury notes up front with baked earth and cooked agave, soon joined by flamed orange peel and raspberry eau-de-vie.

Palate

A big rush of earthy spices as it opens, followed by hints of ripe red apple and vanilla pod.

Finish

Drying, slightly flinty, with a touch of oily walnuts.

Cadaver Respect

This is a powerful earthy Tequila - either sip or use in Cocktails where it can power through. Another review mentioned this is getting as strong as you can go unless its an absinthe... so my second taste was was a Cadaver Reviver using this and a 72 proof Absinthe. It was a mighty serve and the Tequila came through strong. (and the first taste - with every new drink a half shot sipped and savoured to get a feel and taste)

A must to have in both your home and Bar

Cocktail Bartender here. Used this Tequila for a few years in my old bar and I stand by it. Authentic and 100% agave, a beautiful Tequila on the palette for beginners and knowledgeable drinkers alike. It's a wonderful sipping Tequila, and it's great for cocktails and mixing. I have since had a few 110 proof bottles of this and find it wonderful. Very enjoyable to drink

Respect!

At 110 proof this is as strong as booze (not just tequila) gets before we go all medical (except possibly the odd absinthe, but thats another story). This is tequila at its rawest expression because the second distillation is not diluted from its pure over proof state. So, if you are not sure you like tequila, you are going to hate this. Similarly, this is a tequila sippers dream. It deserves a snifter glass. It deserves your full attention (it will get it!). It deserves respect.....

I bought this based on the other reviews after I was looking for a sipping blanco. I had a set of tequila tasters from MoM as an Xmas present and was trying to delve back into the world of tequila. I really enjoyed the blanco tequila's I tried and they were sweet and delicate. I class this in the same bank as Jose Cuervo - shite. It has that putrid '50p a shot' nightclub quality. Don't buy it. There are much better blanco's; if only I kept a note of what I frank.

Just about the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth

If you like tequila, especially blancos, then GET THIS!!! It's not subtle but it certainly IS amazing. Mindblowingly good. At this price, I simply cannot understand how they do it. It blows the vast majority of its vastly more expensive cousins clear out of the water. Insane!!
