Produced by the famous Jose Cuervo company, Especial Gold is a blend of reposado and unaged blanco Tequilas. It's a perfect choice for making Margarita cocktails, and has a mild agave flavour.
The not particularly cheap price made me think this drink would be an acceptable substitute for the only slightly more expensive, smoother tequilas I usually buy. Don’t be fooled. It’s most unpleasant, chemically, somewhat superglue/petrol taste. I wouldn’t even use this as a mixer, poured mine down the sink.
You pay for what you get. This is the 'White lightning' of the cider world. Just spend a little extra and get something better.

Really, really good Tequila. Fantastic flavor and smooth. Perfect in margaritas or on it’s own.
I love this Tequila and so do all of my friends. It is smooth and great tasting. Fantastic in Margaritas or on it's own.
