Añejo tequila produced by Orendain family and released as part of their very handsome Gran Orendain range, all of which are made with agave grown on the hill of Tepecoste. This particular expression spends 20 months maturing in French oak barrels before being bottled, resulting in a complex and powerful flavour profile.
Roasted pepper, golden syrup, cedar, a hint of cereal, Cayenne pepper.

I like this and it is priced reasonably well, I prefer the balance on the other side (a little sweeter and less oak) and it is a little strong on the finish. Not bad, I will try others in this price range but not going as far to say it is world class.....
Lovely fruity aroma and equally pleasant in taste.
I am not sure if ever drank smoother spirit of any kind. That includes 25 years old, single malts or Cognac. Holly $#!%! That's how good is Gran Orendain Tequila.
Better than Patron 1942, loved every single sip of Gran Orendain Anejo. Smooth, flavorful with a sweet smell I couldn't get enough of.
Sipping tequila for those who like a rich body yet smooth finish. The finishes are unique and tasteful with a long lasting flavor to the palate. Highly recommend.
