This beguiling rare reposado from El Tequileño is made from 100% blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. Fermented with natural yeast, and influenced by the 150-year-old mango trees that grow nearby, it’s distilled in copper pot stills and cut with volcanic spring water from El Volcan de Tequila. It’s aged in ginormous 25,000l American oak barrels, known as a Pipón, for six years, resulting in a unique and complex Tequila.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Smooth, complex and rich with notes of baked apple and jalapeño, agave and ginger on the palate and some light oak.
