Description
This is the El Espolòn Reposado Tequila, produced by Destilladora San Nicolas in Los Altos. After distillation, which includes playing rock music in the factories to "inspire" the agave, the Reposado is matured in American oak barrels for six months. Following that, it's handsomely bottled, with a label bustling with skeletons and roosters.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Warming spice, roasted agave and a sweet hint of caramel.
Palate
Brown sugar, yet more roasted agave, joined by vanilla from the maturation and vibrant fruit.
Finish
Long and well spiced.
Overall
Suitable for sipping and enjoying.
