Reviews for Corralejo Añejo
Great value just like the first review.
I am fairly new to tequila and have tried most of the UK supermarket offerings. This beats them all to my mind. Not over powered by a vanilla flavour just a tiny hint. Not overly sweet smooth and easy to drink without loosing depth like a good aged whisky or brandy at a lower price. The agave making a great change from the grape and the grain. I really enjoyed it. I would buy this again would make a super gift. Buying again from master of malt is a problem in a good way , so many wonderful spirits to explore.

Super premium quality at a super low price
Nose: it’s smokey with a vegetive odour with a sweet back end together with the alcohol you can definitely smell that they have used quality Blue Agave in this because it’s hinting on that the flavours are going to follow the nosing.

Palate: yep, first thing that hits is the sweet taste and the smoke then citrus followed by a weird strange earthy vegetive taste reminiscent of globe artichokes because you have that sweetness mingling with that strong vegetive blue Agave.

Finish: blue agave again followed by a sweet earthy liquorice root. A cracking example of a great quality premium tequila at a cracking price. I’d say it’s well worth the money because this shows how a great quality ingredients together with just time can produce tequila that can easily go toe to toe with a £100.00 + bottle of tequila and I’d happily pay that for this expression. Buy them why you can guys this stuff is one of those unknown gems that hasn’t been noticed yet here in Blighty.
