An exceptional Tequila from Casa Dragones, dubbed a 'sipping Tequila', and for good reason! Don't be fooled by the colour, distilled exclusively from Blue Weber agave, this Joven expression is made with a blend of silver and extra aged Tequila, having been rested in new American oak barrels for five years. Rather uniquely, the folks over at the distillery recommend pairing this with hazelnut praline desserts, bringing out the nuttier notes in the spirit. Though, it does just as well enjoyed on its own.
Floral citrus, fresh agave sweetness, a touch of oaky vanilla and spice, with ripe pear and oily nuts.

I am a huge Tequila/ Mezcal/ Agave fan, the Joven is without a doubt my favourite sipping Tequila and I have bottles 10 times the price of this in my collection. Full of flavour, both young and aged agave notes, it is simply delicious and a great replacement for a 'Champagne moment'. stunning bottle too.
I have been a fan of Casa Dragones for a long time and so happy to see it in the UK now, I couldn't get it for so long! It is so smooth & soft, the flavour last forever. Sip it and savour it is my advice!
