An exceptional Tequila from Casa Dragones, dubbed a 'sipping Tequila', and for good reason! Don't be fooled by the colour, distilled exclusively from Blue Weber agave, this Joven expression is made with a blend of silver and extra aged Tequila, having been rested in new American oak barrels for five years. Rather uniquely, the folks over at the distillery recommend pairing this with hazelnut praline desserts, bringing out the nuttier notes in the spirit. Though, it does just as well enjoyed on its own.
Floral citrus, fresh agave sweetness, a touch of oaky vanilla and spice, with ripe pear and oily nuts.
Would sip this every day if it wasn't for the price tag - wow. Definitely something I'm going to bust out for occasions.

I've been a long time Casa Dragones fan, Joven is a very special product - unlike anything I have ever seen from other tequila producers. The liquid is very smooth and I think it's best enjoyed neat!
