Windspiel Kraut & Knolle
Kraut & Knolle from Windspiel is a herbal German spirit, with a potato spirit base. The botanical list for this one is fairly lengthy, with orange, spices, cherry, meadow hay, nettles, walnuts, spruce needles, amber and chamomile blossoms in there, to name a few. A suitably fragrant, herbaceous tipple that ought to make an ideal digestif.

Fruity sweetness leads into fragrant spices, namely clove, ginger and cinnamon, with woody herbs and anise, rounded off by a bitter, spicy finish with lingering notes of orange peel.
