Here we have Whyte & Mackay's answer to low ABV tipples. Whyte & Mackay Light is a spirit drink blends together Scotch whisky and sherry before it spent some time in both sherry casks and bourbon barrels. Weighing in at 21.5% ABV, it can be enjoyed over ice or in a longer serve with soda.
Notes of silky caramel, dried fruit and berries with a subtle hint of smoke.

The overbearing taste is too smokey. This spoils the experience, I was hoping to find tasty midweek tipple that replicated a taste similar to Mainstream Whyte & Mackay blended.
This Whisky is a whisky without its punch as in there is no fire ! Very smooth with a woody after taste. I found it to be quite a nice change. It only looses points on its strength but for its price come on this is a little cracker. Lovely price and a lovely drink.
