A fabulously herbaceous sipper from the folks at Sin Gusano, made with Tobalá agave grown in the region of San Luis Amatlán, southern Oaxaca. Master mezcalero Nicholas Garcia Gutierrez grows Tobalá at the family's agave nursery, but sadly, due to the variety's popularity, a shortage is on the horizon in the region. It is well known that the agave plant takes many years to reach maturation and though more are in the ground, it could be some time before the next harvest of Tobalá is ready.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Herbal smoked agave with juicy vegetal depth and fresh, salty minerality.
