Out of the LoCa Laboratory comes a new spirit (distilled at Silent Pool), which can't legally be called gin because the abv is below the minimum 37.5%. Opting to forge ahead with what they believe is the optimum bottling strength to enjoy Minus 33, even though they cannot then call it gin, is a fairly bold move, but one they've clearly embraced. The botanicals used are juniper, angelica, orris, liquorice, coriander, lemon peel, orange peel, lavender and elderflower. A serve is said to be just 46 calories.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Refreshing and approachable at 33% abv, as intended, quite floral with citrus notes and juniper appropriately prominent. We can see a lot of people enjoying this.
