Lindores New Make Spirit is the creation of Lindores Abbey Distillery and is a reiteration of the first release in 2018 which sold out almost immediately. This is an intriguing spirit that hints at pears and a sweet brininess that gives way to vanilla and warmth. A silk-textured treat that will keep people guessing during a blind tasting.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Vanilla, cereal, mint and cooked pear.

Palate Silken and gentle with hazelnut and toffee sweetening the spice and fruit in the background.

Finish Generous and with plenty of fruit interplay with warmth.

A nice surprise!
My first taste of the new make and I was unprepared for what was to come.
A bit hit of flat maltiness like a bottle of Butty Bach, just been opened, followed by a wallop of booziness. I had not realised it was 63%! Full of loverly Marris Otter flavour it's smooth and creamy. Actually kind of more excited about this than the MCDXCIV.

Makes a cracking old fashioned too!
