This is an interesting spirit from The Horse's Spirit Co., which features the fruity combo of bourbon and habanero pepper. The bourbon comes from Texas's Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co., while The Horse's Spirit Co. makes a habanero distillate (using red savina peppers, specifically) in Germany, which are then combined to make Horse With No Name! The distillation process allows all of the fruity, pepper notes to come through, whilst leaving the wild heat at the door. Warms the cockles of your heart !
This wonderful and warming drink could be mistaken for a really good cognac. The bourbon and habanero mix is very smooth and warming. You can imagine that you are sitting in front of a warm fire to warm the outside of your body whilst sipping this to warm the inside of your body. A perfect drink to offer to your guests as the winter evenings approach.
I highly recommend that you try this.You will not be disappointed. You will probably be tempted to buy another bottle to keep for yourself. I was.
