Five & Twenty 2 Year Old Rye 2015 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Five & Twenty is a combination winery, brewery, and distillery in the state of New York with a focus on sustainability. Grains are sourced from local farmers to ensure the least distance travelled and there's even an on-site fish farm that benefits from all the by-products from spirits and beer production. This straight rye spirit spent two years maturing in a new American oak barrel, and now 320 bottles join our exclusive Master of Malt collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Juicy red apples, crisp green apples, soft, warm rye bread, buttery oak, and vanilla with delicate pepper nestling beneath.
Palate
Silky soft to begin, with notes of butterscotch and charred oak, before candied ginger and a sprinkle of nutmeg heat arrives. Biscuity, with browned butter and notes of Kola Kubes.
Finish
A lick of woody spice and peppery, delicately herbaceous rye nestle among toffee apples, grilled peaches, and green peppercorns, with floral vanilla and a touch of berry fruit tea lingering.
