Copenhagen Distillery Organic Coffee Spirit
The crafty folks at Denmark's Copenhagen Distillery have come up with a splendid sipper here! A wheat base spirit is distilled with Arabica coffee beans from Finca Ceylan in Guetamala, imparting rich, bold notes of sweet, roasted coffee to balance gentle citrus and chocolate. The scope for this is endless, but the first stop for us will obviously be an Espresso Martini, next up, perhaps a coffee Negroni?

Plenty of coffee bean character with rich, earthen roasty notes lifted by sweeter, fruity flavours. Gentle hints of citrus zest enhance the bitter coffee notes, whilst silky wafts of chocolate bring sweetness to balance, before a final build up of warming, peppery spice.
