Cadello 88 was inspired by the idea of what people at 18th Century masquerade balls would have enjoyed. The result is a spirit made with eight ingredients, each one infused separately before being blended together and aged in French oak barrels to develop its flavour profile further. Enjoyably creamy and softly sweet, with a chocolatey quality to it too.
Milk chocolate, star anise, orange zest, honey, and walnut.
It has hints of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, star anise, mint and caramel. Quite complex, but incredibly smooth. Delicious.
A wonderful discover, at the nose is very elegant with notes of star anise, mint and vanilla. At the palate is an explosion of all the flavours, you can really taste all of them. Amazing as after dinner but also as aperitif. Great with any kind of cocktails and mixers. Highly recommended if you are looking for a spirit out of ordinary. Definitely a game changer in the spirit industry.
